Jarek Pałka

Chief Procrastinator Officer

For 20 years in the industry, he is constantly unable to find his place. Legacy code bases, systems’ architecture, performance tuning, JVM and agile coaching - there is no work that can not be taken and which he could be ashamed of (well, maybe in addition to creating solutions in JavaScript). For many years he has been doing conference tourism, mainly as an excuse from hard work and as an opportunity to constantly remind that our industry is a cheap counterfeit of the clothing industry (at least when it comes to incoming and outgoing trends). Secretly admirer of Python, OOP and a few other obsolete solutions and everything Alan Kay wrote. In the Program Council he would like to have the right of veto, but someone has voted that the current political system is democracy.
